In my career Social work, the curriculum is very complete, in my experience so far, the topics are very necessary for our training. In my opinion, the topics are very complete and the professors who expose their subjects are experts in their area.

Changes to my study programme

In my career Social work, the curriculum is very complete, in my experience so far, the topics are very necessary for our training. In my opinion, the topics are very complete and the professors who expose their subjects are experts in their area.

One thing that would change is the workload, because although I understand that they teach us fundamental material, I also believe that most of the tests and jobs are scheduled on the same dates, which considerably deteriorates our mental health, since we have an overload of tests during some months in the year and in others we have almost no evaluation. In general, I consider that the facilities of the faculty are in good condition, although I would do a facso restroom renovation, since there are some in very bad conditions. In addition, I also believe that changes should be made in the heating of the rooms of facso, because in summer they are very hot and in winter they are very cold.

Regarding the use of technology, I believe that the university is very up-to-date in terms of information, since any information related to the course comes to us through the ucursos platform, in addition to the fact that the faculty is involved in several computers to work in different subjects.

In my opinion, the teaching methods used by the different teachers are effective, although I think they could do a little more interactive classes, or where the students' participation will be more prominent.

My Childhood 

When I was a girl I liked to eat chewing gum “dos en uno” with fruit flavor. Whenever I remember my childhood days, automatically it comes to my mind this chewing gum. Also, I loved the smell of wet soil, because I remember when I played in a dirt street with my friends, after the rain.

My favorite memory of childhood was when I played hide and seek with my friends. We got together to play at night and we ran everywhere, what I liked the most was that we could hide in different places and it was more difficult to find us in the dark.

When I was a girl, at home we did not have satellite television, and we only watched national television channels. My favorite shows were "The Fairly Odd Parents", "Tom and Jerry" and "Totally Spies".

In my childhood, I spent most of my time at school, but my favorite activities outside of it were going out to play with my friends or spend time with my sister. I loved going out with my friends, because we were a very large group of children, so we could play different games and we had a great time. These memories with my friends are the ones I appreciate the most in my childhood, because despite the years, we are still very close and every time we get together, we had as much fun as when we were children.

In general, my childhood was very fun

Personal Opinions

I am a person who most of the time shares his opinion with others. I think that in order to share opinions, we all have to be informed about the topic that we opinion. Today I will share my opinion on some topics that interest me.

With respect to the military, I think that military service does not have to be mandatory for anyone. But I think that if in our country military service is mandatory for men, it should also be for women. Also, I think that in the military, the women are discriminated against, because they are considered inferior to men and there are many differences with respect to the tasks they have to perform and the treatment they receive.

I consider that other very important theme it’s a child labor. I completely disagree with the child labor, because I think that girls and boys should not work to support themselves. In my opinion, it is your family that must guarantee your economic well-being. I also believe that when there is no support from the children's family it is the State that must take charge and care for their welfare.

I don’t really agree with killing stray dogs to prevent sanitary problems and animal over population, because I am sure there are other options, such as free veterinary clinics, so that veterinarians can take care of them and I also think that state shelters could be created to maintain and take care of puppies that are homeless.

Moving on to another topic, my opinion on the legalization of abortion in some cases is that not only should it be in some cases, but it should be free, safe and free, because I believe that every woman is the one who decides on her body.

Postgraduate Studies 

Honestly, I don’t thinking about at my future after of the University, but I consider it is not bad idea specialize in the some area that I interesting me. I think I would like to work for a while and after that, look for something that inspires me to specialize.  It would be a good idea to do the make the certification program “Diplomado en Políticas Sociales: Desarrollo y Pobreza” or  “Diplomado en peritaje social en el contexto de la justicia oral”. Maybe I should do a course related to public policies or related whit the reintegration in prisons

I think I would like to work in Chile, and maybe I will do a postgraduate course abroad, but only to study, because I would not like to live abroad. I would like to study a blended system, or maybe a part time course, really I don’t know.

In these moments I only think about passing the subjects that I am studying and finishing the university within the estimated time. I think I still have at least 2 more years to think about what to do with my future after I graduated as a social worker.  I still do not want to stress thinking about this topic, I prefer to leave that for when it is a little bigger and more mature.

My Pets 

                       Sincerely, I don´t consider myself an animal lover, because I like them, but I´m not fanatic. A few years ago, my dad came with an adorable and very small puppy to my house. My sister named him Railef, but we found that it was a very long name so we decided to call him Rai. He is a mixed dog, brown and with some white spots. He is very playful, loves to get dirty in the mud and bark at everyone, that makes him very protective.

                        Also, I have other dog, my puppy, he is Balto, he is a seven months, it’s a baby! I have a very special relationship whit Balto, because when he was three months, he got a mortal virus for puppies and he was on the edge of death. During the time that Balto was ill, he and me we got very close, and thanks to the vet, we did everything possible to save his life, and we achieve! Balto is black with some white spots. He is a very adorable puppy and very playful. I love my dogs, are the best pets.

I think it isn’t right to keep wild animals in a zoo, because the animals suffer much to living away from their natural habitat. If I could be an animal, I would be a bird, because I would love can fly. 

Job

In the future I would love to work in places where I could develop my profession from a critical point of view, where my work is really a means to generate change. I would like to work as a social worker, which is the profession I am studying. I think I would work in an office, although I would also like to work in the ground to know the reality of people. I hope to make many trips abroad to specialize in the area where I work.

I would like to work with public policies in a government office. I would not like to work in a university because I do not have the patience to teach

I have many personal challenges for my future, I hope to get a job related to people deprived of freedom or children and young people at social risk.

I hope to be able to find work in my city, Curicó, because I think it could be a great contribution in this city so small and with so many flaws. Although if I do not find a job there, I will look for work in another city where I can be a contribution with my knowledge

Art

I have always considered that art is very important for the culture of people. But I, as a child, have never been good with drawings or paintings, if we talk about art, I prefer music. I like to visit museums or art exhibitions, but I don´t do it frequently. When I was in school I played cello and I loved it, because it was my way of expressing myself.

I believe that I don´t have many skills in visual arts, and I haven´t participated in an art contest. When I was little I was jealous of the drawings that my sister made, she is a very good artist and she makes fantastic drawings.

In my personal opinion, I don´t know much about the types of visual art, but I think that graffiti is an art form. I have seen very nice graffiti and others with very powerful messages, I think they are a very good form of expression and I don´t consider them to be a form of vandalism.

I  don´t have a favorite visual work of art and neither a favorite artist on this subject, but in classical music I love the "Suite No. 1 in G major" for cello, by Johann Sebastian Bach.
